Locations Guide
Choosing a location can be difficult if you’re unsure of what is in your area or where you should choose. That is where I come in! Here are a few location options in the Granbury area. If you have a different location idea that is not included in this list, please reach out to me so I can approve the location choice. If you would like to travel outside of the Granbury area, please also reach out to me.
Airfield Falls Trailhead & Conservation Park
This location in Westworth Village, Texas is well-known to some and a complete mystery to others. It is home to Tarrant County’s largest natural waterfall. Much more than a pretty view, the trailhead is also home to important native wildlife so it is lovely for a nature session.
No fee to use this location and just outside of Fort Worth.
Dallas Arboretum & Garden
Beautiful gardens, big trees, seasonal flowers scenic water views and much more make this gorgeous location in the heart of Dallas, an ideal spot for any photoshoot.
Typical season events include: Spring - Dallas Blooms, Fall - Pumpkin Patch & Fall Decor, December - Holiday Theme.
Free admission for up to four hours and free parking for one vehicle is included in your session. Click the link to their website for specific dates and times.
Texas Discovery Gardens
This hidden gem is just outside the fair grounds in Fair Park. Stunning gardens, lush greenery, and beautiful water features are just a small part of what the venue offers. Kids can enjoy a butterfly garden, educational tools and more. Perfect spot for bridal and engagement portraits.
$40 session fee is charged by venue, which includes admission for two. Regular admission is $8 for adults, $4 for kids under 11, free for children under 2.
Gaylord Texan
Enjoy the feel of outdoors without your hair blowing in the wind or worrying your hair blowing in the wind or worrying about rain on your photoshoot. This location in Grapevine, TX includes 4.5 acres of indoor gardens feature the rugged canyons of the Texas Hill Country and a meandering replica of San Antonio’s Legendary Riverwalk. It’s a world of Texas Authenticity brought to life in a lush, climate-controlled atrium environment.
No fee to use this location, paring fee is around $10-12.
Downtown Grapevine
This location has a small town feel with lots of country chic spots for photos. There are tons of holiday decorations and photos opportunities around the holidays. Great spot for Christmas photos!

Parker Rose Garden
This beautiful public park offers a rustic country feel with this gorgeous barn, pond, large trees, and open field areas. Ideal for family pictures or couples and located just minutes from Plano.

Downtown Plano, Haggard Park
In the heart of downtown Plano, Haggard Park offers beautiful greenery, trees, water features, bridges, and a historic rail car. Also, just steps away you can find the booming downtown area with city vibes, vintage brick walls, and lots of places to sit and take it all in. Grab a bite to eat or plan a romantic date night for after your photo session. This spot has it all!

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve
Beautiful nature preserve with tons of trees, bridges, wooded areas, fields, and scenic views for photo opportunities.

Deep Ellum
Deep Ellum is the art capital of Dallas with colorful painted walls, sculptured, and a hip/modern city feel.
No fees to use and open to the public.
Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge
This gorgeous bridge offers the perfect spot to catch the sun setting over the Dallas skyline and capture some breathtaking city backdrops.

Klyde Warren Park
This beautiful park is located in the heart of downtown Dallas and offers gorgeous city views, park features, and walking distance to the arts district.
No fees to use and open to the public, paid parking in the vicinity.
Downtown Fort Worth
Downtown Fort Worth offers stunning city views, bridges, water features and awesome areas such as the Fort Worth Water Gardens, Sundance Square and more!

Fort Worth Stockyards
The Stockyards offer the perfect rustic/country chic backdrop for any session!

Fort Worth Botanical Gardens
This stunning botanical garden offers breathtaking garden views, seasonal flowers, sculptures, water features and more. Ideal spot for engagement and bridal sessions.

Farmers Branch Historical Park
This charming park has a little bit of everything! Historic cabins and houses, general store and old gas station, rustic barns, green fields with classic park benches, big trees, rose gardens, and a historic rail car.
No fees with our membership but appointment must be made in advance with the property.
Old Alton Bridge
This location in Denton, Texas offers a rustic old bridge, creek and water front areas, and woods. You can see images at the link below to look at how the location differs between seasons!

Harbor District
This location in Rockwall, Texas is a lakefront area offering stunning lake views, lighthouse and water features.

Downtown Frisco
Historic downtown Frisco and the Frisco Heritage Museum area both offer great places for photos. Rustic buildings, country small town vibes, vintage rail cars and railroad tracks and much more!

This location in Richardson, Texas offers a variety gorgeous backdrops and green trees, trails, waterfalls, park benches and much more!

White Rock Lake
This location in Dallas, Texas offers incredible lakeside views. This location is great for a sunset session in the summer. And also great to detour through some nature spots, like trees and wildflowers, for a variety of photos.
